Katie Hamilton is an Associate Licensed Professional Counselor with a Mental Health Service Provider designation. After teaching kindergarten for 6 years, Katie pursued counseling to help others walk towards healing from trauma, depression, anxiety, and the challenges life brings. Katie is certified in EMDR, Murray Method Level 1, and Brainspotting Level 1. She is also currently on staff at Christ Church Nashville as Interim Director of Children’s Ministry. Her ultimate goal is to empower her clients towards wholeness and healing. In her spare time, she loves to be home with her two-year-old daughter, Palmer. Additionally, Katie can always be found with her nose stuck in a good book and enjoying her community at Burn Boot Camp. Katie earned her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and a B.S. in Elementary Education. While Katie is at Branches pursuing full licensure, she is working under the licensure of Tracey Moore-Robison, LPC-MHSP, M. Ed.,Clinical Director of Branches.
