Katie Hamilton is a graduate student at Grand Canyon University where she is working towards a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health. Her coursework includes helping others with addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma, and navigating the joys and challenges of perinatal and postnatal mental health. She provides care to individuals, families, couples, teens, and children. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Middle Tennessee State University and taught kindergarten for 6 years. She is currently on staff at Christ Church Nashville as Interim Director of Children’s Ministry. Her ultimate goal is to empower her clients towards wholeness and healing. In her spare time, she loves to be home with her one-year-old daughter, Palmer. Additionally, Katie can always be found with her nose stuck in a good book and she enjoys kickboxing. While Katie is at Branches working towards licensure she will be working under the supervision and licensure of Tracey Moore-Robison, LPC-MHSP, M.Ed., Clinical Director of Branches.
